When Werkhaus was founded in 1992, it was clear to them that their products should be environmentally friendly and produced exclusively in their own factory. Social and societal responsibility have been important values for them from the start. WERKHAUS worked according to these principles long before "sustainability" became a big buzzword and companies increasingly took up the cause of sustainable management.
